My name is Jaylene and I'm so happy you're here! In my 20's, I was a television reporter for NBC. As you could imagine, I  covered so many heartbreaking stories. In this season of my life, I write heartfelt stories that I hope bring joy and inspiration to readers. I use the skills that I developed as a journalist to write concise and engaging stories in the form of novelettes which are short novels that can be read fairly quickly.

 

My passion for writing comes from my own faith journey. Since I  was a child, I believed in God, but it wasn't until I was nearly 40 that I understood it's not just about believing, it's about being in relationship with God. I write to encourage people to seek God first and discover the beauty of truly knowing Him. My debut novelette, Creating Our Eden, is available on Amazon. All proceeds from the book are donated to a nonprofit that helps foster children in Central Florida and children in need overseas.
